DSGN 223 - Shaping the Contemporary City I - Winter 2025

Examines the structures of society as determinants of urban form, including political systems and governance, economics and urban development, and social organization. Emphasizes the agency of individuals and groups, through such topics as power and resistance, spatial justice, multiculturalism, professions and the public.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
