Biography

Marwa is a PhD canidate in the Faculty of Environmental Design at the University of Calgary specializing in Energy and Environmental Systems. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Lebanese University in Beirut. By the end of her undergraduate degree, she became interested in exploring the relationship between business, environment and sustainability. Marwa’s PhD research aims to study the potential of life cycle sustainability assessment to guide companies’ decision-making in reducing their environmental impacts while achieving sustainability goals.
