With the help of nearly 250 volunteers, the corner of 1 Street and 14 Avenue S.W. was recently converted from a vacant lot into an urban park space. The park has been a great success and in order to help it reach its full potential EVDS will be incorporating additional design elements into the park.
This exciting community improvement project is being done in conjunction with the Victoria Park brz, makeCalgary and the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council 
(USGBC).
Volunteers are needed to make this one-day event a success. Join fellow EVDS faculty, staff and alumni, and help us make Calgary!
